JW (Jewels) Collection:

The Jewels Collection ( - a.k.a. JW) is characterized by the new, pleatless technology which means that the shoes are not made with the traditional folding method on the platform, like most of the pointe shoes that exist in the market. It also makes the platform of these shoes very stable, even “edgy”.

If you have an experience with these models, you will most probably recognize them on dancers thanks to their delicate silhouette, which indeed reminds us of a precious stone’s cut. More specifically, the sole of the "Jewels" is machine-stitched.

Cut:

All the JW models, that will be presented below, can be manufactured both with a U-cut with drawstring or a V-cut without drawstring. 

Vamp:

There is also a choice of three vamp heights (V1, V2, V3), where the V2 is the default “medium” one.

Shanks: 

The three standard shanks (S, M, H) give firmer support behind the toes, for the feet which need maximum support for higher-impact movements, such as springing to pointe or repeated relevés and turns.
The Flexible shanks (FS, FM, FH) have a unique cutout design of the shank behind the toes, providing more flexibility when passing through demi-pointe.

JW Models: let's take them one-by-one: 

JW-R (or Rubin):

The universal one: Medium-tapered box with a big platform. Medium profile. Medium heel. Pre-arched.

JW-AL (or Almaz):

A slightly tapered model with a high vamp and a low profile. The only model of the collection with a flat (non pre-arched) sole.

JW-S (or Sapfir):

The narrowest shoe which uses its own width scale to fit the most narrow and/or compressible feet, or feet with long toes. Slightly tapered and low-profile, with a medium (not too small) platform. Also being pre-arched.

JW-T (or Topaz):

The Russian Pointe has discontinued this model. (Yet, the Energetiks still have it)

Looks very much like Rubin but has a higher vamp and wings. Pre-arched.

Some other collections by R-class that you may want to learn about is the new RC collection and the Classic n' Polette collection.

SL (Spotlight) Collection:

The Spotlight collection was created at the same time with the Jewels one, so as to complete the range with some more high-profile shoes made with the traditional pleated- folding (hand stitched and glued) technology.  All models are pre-arched.

Cut:

The Spotlight Models: analysing each and every one:

SL-BR (or Brava):

Brava is also a “universal’ model which can fit a wide range of foot shapes. It has a medium to high profile, a lower vamp which opens towards the wings and a medium-big platform. 

!Special Customization!  SL-BRJ:

The same model as the SL-BR but made in a pleatless technology. 

SL-EE (or Encore):

The Encore is a narrow and high-profile shoe with a medium-high vamp.

!Special Customization!  SL-EEJ:

The same model as the SL-EE but made in a pleatless technology. 

SL- L (or Lumina):

This is the most “square” model. It has a wide, “edgy” platform, a roomy box which continues straight towards the metatarsals. Medium vamp and medium box profile.

!Special Customization!  SL-LJ:

The same model as the SL-L but made in a pleatless technology. 

SL-M (or Muze):

A roomy shoe for wide and full feet. A medium platform which opens towards metatarsals and has a high profile. The shoe uses a different scale of widths to comfort even the most full feet.

SL-EP (or Entrada Pro):

The box of the Entrada Pro would open on its sides to make space for bunions or diamond-shaped feet with a high profile. Smaller platform.
