If you are thinking about getting a pair of wedding pointe shoes, it's a good idea to start arranging them at least 2-3 months before the wedding. With Brooke M, we managed to deliver her masterpiece on time, but needed to do everything in a rush... Here's how it looked like... I am a dancer and wanted to get a pair to wear on my big day! My typical shoe is a Bloch Balance European 5.5 XXXX. I have very wide feet, but very arch-y feet as well. I realize that it may be hard to have them be something I can go en pointe with, but I'm willing to wear whatever!  My wedding is on May 14, 2016, but would like my shoes sometime towards the beginning of May or sooner, if possible.

Do you remember which was the Grishko style you've tried at a local shop and did not like? Although, the shops rarely have this width in stock so you could just have tried the narrower shoe and it's a torture, no matter which brand is it.
